Differences between analog and digital computers

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ANALOG AND DIGITAL COMPUTER’S

DEFINE ANALOG COMPUTER’S: 

1 : Analog computer works with continuous values.

2 : It has very limited memory.

3 : It can perform certain types of calculation’s.

4 : Analog computer is used in engineering and scientific applications.

5 : Ana computer is used for calculations and measurements of physical qualities such as weight ,height ,temperature and speed.

:Its accuracy is high.

7 : Its readability is low .

:  Examples of analog computers are thermometer, analog clock ,and older weighing machine.

DEFINE DIGITAL COMPUTER’S : 

1 : Digital computer works with discrete values. It can work only with digits.

2 : It can store large amount of data.

3 : Its speed of calculation is very high. 

4 : Digital computer is widely used in almost all fields of life.

5 : Digital computer is used to calculate mathematical and logical operations.

6 : Its accuracy is comparatively low.

7 : Its readability is high.

8 : Examples of digital computers are digital watches, digital weighing machines , mini computers, microcomputers, mainframe and supercomputers.
